Carbon Copy Approach

Many businesses are started with a carbon copy approach.  Meaning that someone else has done it before and laid out all the instructions to have what they think is a profitable business.  Unfortunately when starting a business, it can be very overwhelming and when you are putting all your trust in one person or company, you may be overlooking very important details.

During the housing boom, a lot of consumers were spending what they thought to be excess money, on aesthetic treatments.  Medical spas were opening on every corner.  Every type of doctor whether it was family practice, ob/GYN’s, cardiologists, dermatologists, everyone saw the earning potential of having an aesthetic business.  None of them had any background in aesthetics, but they knew they had clientele coming through their door and were determined that if they bought the equipment, they would make money.  The reason for their mindset was because of consultants in the industry and their broken business model.

Consultants

The consultants often worked with the salespeople so the they would get a commission.  The doctor’s were unaware of the transactions, but were too confident that the consultant had their best interest in mind.  After the medical spa was completed, consultants often find other businesses to jump start with the same carbon copy approach, leaving the new owner without further direction.  The offices quickly figured out that the business model they were shown, was broken.

Many other companies and businesses are no different.  People are blinded by the idea of having a successful business and are unsure where to start so they entrust in a consultant, franchise or maybe even a friend to lead the way.  As we all know today with the recession, too many business models are not profitable and operate in red.  The overhead with employees, products or food, rent, insurance, taxes, everything is so costly that you end up not making a dime for a number of years, if you survive.

Secure Business Model

A truly secure business model thriving even through the recession is Internet Marketing.  None of the financial concerns associated with a traditional business exists.  It is by far more profitable than any other business model and marketers have made money as quickly as their very first day online.  To do this they incorporate a website with a blog, autoresponder emails, videos, published articles and social media into an automated online business that generates income 24/7.

In order to master all of this, it would take a lot of time, money and networking.  That is why many Internet Marketers find a carbon copy solution to facilitate their online business.  The driven ones also find a mentor to assist them in becoming a top performer.  By combining the carbon copy approach, a mentor and the motivation to succeed, virtually anyone can create massive wealth online within a matter of months.
