How Many Reps Do You Want To Sponsor Per Month? 20? 40? Learn How!

Training people in the MLM industry, I get asked asked this question frequently.

“What am I doing wrong?”

I often get emails that read like this:

Warren, I talk to at least 10 new, prospects a day, and no one is signing up. I keep sending e-mails with my company and product info. No one wants to close the deal. They’re not willing to join up, or I can’t get back in touch with them again. Most don’t review what I send them and keep putting me off. Regardless of how good the meeting or conversation goes, no-one signs up.
I don’t know what my problem is. !

So…. what’s going on here?

The first thing that I question is this:

Are the 10 new prospects quality prospects, or simply targets?

Here’s the reality of the situation…

You’re either approaching cold prospects that are not interested in the MLM industry (and you didn’t ask questions to find that out to begin with qualification) or you’re “attracting” 10 new people a day with your so-called online marketing who are currently active in network marketing but aren’t actively looking for what you have. These online leads may become prospects in the future, but they are not today, so you’d best start attracting more that 10 per day!

If you’re buying mlm leads… best of luck to you! They’re more likely to be”suspects” at best.

However, if you have built a lead generation system like what I help people build at MLM Growth Explosion, or are using some other method like PPC, then we are talking QUALITY prospects … and 10 leads a day like that might just be the real deal!

I get questions about why people don’t sign up after getting company info and promotional videos and such.

Read this carefully – repeat it if you need to: people seldomly watch a “company presentation” you sent via email and and feel inclined to immediately sign up.

It doesn’t work that way.

Network marketing is a RELATIONSHIP business. You must reach out and connect. GET ON THE PHONE and make yourself stand out from the rest…

If your goal is to attract leaders… then be one by letting your prospects hear it in your voice.

You must be different from everyone else.

Don’t just rely on company presentations, inject some of YOU in the equations. People want to join with a leader…not a company. If you’re looking for MLM rockstars you must be THE leader they want to follow.

Simple as that.

Another complaint I hear often: them again. Or they complain that their “prospects” never review the information and continually stall.

So… why is this happening?

They were either never truly a real prospect to begin with (your qualification process involved whether they had a pulse or not) OR you never got to their REASON WHY and you didn’t create a RELATIONSHIP with
your prospect. In other words, they were seeing you as a salesman instead of a leader who will help them get to where they want to be .

I also hear complaint of having good conversations with people but just can’t sign them up.

I see this a lot, especially with inexperienced networkers, mostly because they listen to the prospect but are unable to control the direction of the conversation.

You’re not there to be a sounding board, or to “chit-chat.”

Our job is to interview and qualify our prospects. In the process of doing this, we buid a relationship, but that doesn’t mean we become their friend.

Direct the flow, by asking GOOD QUESTIONS… and in the process qualify-qualify-qualify! If the answers you’re getting are not to your liking, your call should last no more than 2-3 minutes. Most networkers talk way too much to the wrong people. Don’t be one of them.

If your goal is to sponsor more reps, start with a critical review of your prospecting process. What’s good about your process? What’s bad?. And what are you NOT doing?
